Extremely Poor Quality Spiderman Pyjamas – Unacceptable!

On Friday, 2 May 2025, I purchased two sets of Spiderman pyjamas (ages 3–4) and a pack of 5 socks from Ackermans at Mdantsane City Mall for my son and nephew. To my utter shock and disappointment, after just one night of wearing the pyjamas, both sets were torn, after a single night of normal wear by toddlers!

This is completely unacceptable and embarrassing, especially coming from a well-known retailer like Ackermans that many of us trust for our children's clothing. The quality of these items is clearly substandard, and I now question the durability and value of your children’s clothing range.

I demand an explanation and a full refund or replacement for the defective items. I will not allow my hard earned money to be wasted on products that fall apart overnight. Kindly advise on the next steps to resolve this matter urgently.

Note: Unfortunately, I no longer have the receipt, but I know exactly when and where I made the purchase, and I believe Ackermans can still trace or verify it based on store sales. The quality of these items is clearly below standard and not what I expect from a trusted retailer.
