Don't you need the business?

I received an application form and card in the mail, and decided to open an account. I completed the form, faxed it off together with pay slip; 3 months bank statement and ID. I waited 2 weeks and heard nothing. I went into a store and a cashier contacted the head office, after which I was told my application was declined due to a signature missing, I need to apply again. So I took my documents into a store 2 days ago. The lady scanned my docs and contacted the new account department. I stood (because there is no chairs) for an hour! She was more confused than I was when I left the store, because all of a sudden there was now 2 applications pending. I was promised I would receive a phone call from the confirmation department. In stead I got an Sms to say they need a 3 month bank statement! I went back the following day and stood another 45 minutes, while another cashier tried to find out why the confirmation department never contacted me. Seriously Ackermans, like, do you not need the business? Are the people in your account opening department just sitting there thinking they made their budgets so if they ignore the new applications it will just go away? Needless to say, NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME YET! Can someone pick up a phone and deliver some customer service!
