DISSAPOINTING SERVICE

The most upsetting,disappointing and unprofessional handling of incidents.

On Sunday the 8th I went to make a lay bye at Ackerman's Menlyn and lost both our phones(was with my cousin and my 5 month old baby).When I got to the till I realised that I lost our phones and reported it to the cashier that was helping me. She was casual about it and showed absolute 0 sympathy. She called her manager who was not far from her to advise of the incident and she asked if I went to the kiddies section of which I did. They spoke amongst themselves and said "maybe those ladies have returned".1 of the other employees came and offered to call my phone and unfortunately it was off.

What really shocked me is how casual they were about it and the fact that they are aware that it is not safe to shop in their store but yet they do not inform us. The cashier that was helping was telling everyone about what happened , telling how another white lady reported that she lost her Apple phone & asked me if I don't have some money to buy another phone???There was no formal apology from any manager , instead the manager that was there just went to the speaker and announced that shoppers must take care of their belongings but what about me that is standing in front of you how are you helping me?

1.If I lose my phone and you ask me if I don't have money to buy another phone its wrong, because its like you take our phones so that you can upsell your stock! 2.I was not offered a CCTV footage in case I want to go to the police station! 3.If you are aware that there are ladies who ***** at the kiddies section is the staff well informed and if yes why are they not always present? Does the security have the pictures of these ladies? Why are we not advised immediately when we step in to the store that it is not safe to shop there? 4.Why was there no formal apology and some sympathy?

I went back on Monday the 9th to buy my cousin a reasonable phone because we cant both live without cell phones especially with a small baby but guess what? The network on that phone is horrible!!!!

I GIVE UP ON AKERMANS MENLYN!!!!!
