I received an infant jacket as a gift for my son, with winter on its way out I decided to go to Ackerman's to change this for another item. The person that assisted me was an Ackerman's employee by the name of Slindelo. He advised me the item was valued at R79, as I was searching for another item to the same rand value I came across the same jacket I was exchanging marked at R149. I enquired with Slindelo about this he then advised me the item was marked down, but I was showing him the price tag it was clearly not marked down. I requested to speak to the manager which I was advised by Slindelo that he was the manager. He was very unprofessional for a manager as I as the customer can see the item marked at R149 but he refused to let me exchange it for an item of the same value. Is this a at of Ackerman's staff robbing customers of their hard earned money ? I will definitely make everyone I know aware of how Ackerman's conducts their business.
