2 years back my boyfriend had paid off his account with Ackermans in order for us to maintain our debt.
3 months ago he decided to go check if the account was still active, but only to find out that he owed an amount of R300 and was already handed over to a vvm attorneys. He was then given the contact details in order for to make so arrangements. Vvm was called but couldn't help with the accounts details. The lady promised to call back as soon as she had info but never did.
Nb: we also went to the branches but still. Accounts were in full but nobody ever informed us that you needed to contact Ackermans and put a suspension onto the account. Also, how does the account people work if they never called us fir this money?
