Complaint against Ackermans Clothing

I app**** for an account with Ackermans (clothing stores). I receive an sms to say I have been provisionally approved for R7500. I then send in my payslips and Id as requested and then immediately get declined because I am a contract worker. How does this work? I work on projects where I have a renewable contract, does this now mean that I am not eligible for an account??? I now called Ackermans and they say contract workers do not get accounts with them because they don't know if we will pay.
