Cellphone insurance

I've bought a new cell phone with a new account at At kenako Mall port Elizabeth from one of your stores,the cashier told me to come back after 24hrs to do insurance phone a phone but it's must not be after 7 days after purchasing the phone, so I went back to the store now they are telling me that I wouldn't be able to get an insurance for my phone because it was suppose to be done that time I was purchasing the phone, please assist me, no ackermans at Kenako mall Port Elizabeth with very poor customer service sies😡😡😡
