Arrangement Letter

Good day, I have been in areas with my Ackermans account for a few months because I had a sick child in hospital and had to settle his medical bill. However I have been answering their calls at times I would be the one calling them and making a payment arrangement. I have changed my childs school and the new school they ran some credit checks, they have picked up the arears I have with Ackermans and have requested that I submit an arrangement letter proving that I have been making arrangements to pay my account. I then went and called Ackermans requesting the letter, the lady assisting me said that they do not do arrangement letters and that I cannot be assisted. This is however holding back the process of acceptance at the school for my son as they just need a simple letter of the arrangement I have with them. Can I please be assisted on this as it affects my sons future.
