Ackermans Premio S85 and unfair returns policy
I bought a Premio s85 in July. had nice specs for a R1099 phone and I thought it was money well spent. Month later, it started having problems. it would freeze until I took out the battery and restarted it. late August, the problem got worse as it froze several times a day. sometimes it would not freeze but all apps would refuse to run until you restart it. Also, the battery was so swollen after only two months.
So I went to Ackermans in early September to return the phone as it was still covered by warranty. They refuse to even take it. They said their policy doesn't allow them to take phones damaged by a user. I don't understand why a minor crack on the screen voids warranty for what's clearly a software/hardware issue. Tried explaining to them that if they book the phone for repair, their technician will confirm it's not a screen issue or a human fault but they still refused. Today the phone is no better than a toy. Only work for a few hours a day and freeze more constantly.

I'm a happy customer but it shouldn't have gotten this far.
