I have had an Ackermans account for a couple of years as I have always found their clothes to be stylish and affordable and of good quality. I have recently been very disappointed with the quality though. In February or March I bought myself a new pair of winter pajamas. Cute and warm. I saw when I was checking out that there was quite few loose threads. I double checked the area, but all seemed ok. Until the first time I wore it about a month later. There are two big holes underneath each arm on the seams and a bit lower down on the side seam. Too late to exchange it, so I just fixed it up. On Monday 01 April 2019 I bought my daughter a pair of black skinny jeans and took it home. She fit it on and saw that there was a tear on the bottom of the one leg. On Thursday 04 April 2019 we went back to exchange it for another one. Keep in mind it still had the tags on as well as the slip was produced. When we got to the cashier, we explained the problem stating that we are just exchanging it for another one due to the tear. She scrutinized the jean (which is understandable) then went away to speak to the manager, returned 10 minutes later and told us they would not take the jean back as it was old. Old!! When we only purchased it 3 days earlier. We then asked her to call the manager and explained to her that it could definitely not be old. She then reluctantly exchanged it (as in ok here just take the other one, not done on your system) and when we left we distinctly heard her say to the cashier "just go put this one back on the shelf". When I turned to look at her in disbelief she quickly changed her tune to "Oh no, send it back to quality control". Maybe she misspoke, maybe not. A week or so ago I popped into a different branch and saw the nicest sweaters and even though I was a bit dubious bought myself a beautiful emerald green one. I wore it once last week and then once this week. Lo and behold, another hole on the seam on the sleeve this time. I don't have time to fine tooth comb every item I buy. And I also don't have time to take everything back at least once. There is obviously a problem at your quality control or at your manufacturing supplier. I understand once in a while, but every item I have bought this year basically had quality issued or had to be returned. This is not acceptable. I suggest you have a good look at where the problem lies.
