ACKERMANS KEMPTON GATE

I bought muti wenyoni for my 1 year old son at Ackermans Kempton gate on the 27/07/2024 to find out that it expires on the 31/07/2024. How can you finish the medicine in 4 days? What does the lond say about keeping medication on the counter before it expired or close to expiring? On the 8th August my son started being sick after drinking the medicine, so the the 10th August I took him to the doctor which she said it was an reaction of expired food/liquid which on can conclude its the medication. I then spoke to the assistant supervisor which she helped me by taking copies of my slip and my doctors slip. She told me she will assist in claiming my money back including the doctors as it was coursed by their medication. She then showed me a messege sent to the group that the medication should have been removed before it was sold to me. Her supervisor on the messege sent to the group acknowledged that it should be removed but never removed it. When I got to the store they still have the expired medication on the shelf which they removed in front of me. I then spoke to the supervisor which she was not helpful at all and said I should bring a doctors report. I mean would I go to the doctor just for fun? I then spoke to the regional manager Sakhile Gumede which was worse because when I told him that they removed the expired goods he said he was well aware of the issue and it was fine. I asked if it was right and he said it was good. I must now go to the doctor with my time and my petrol which will not be compensated for just to get the report. I mean you sold me something that was gonna expire in less than 5 days and a 1 year old can't finish that medication in 5 days. Sakhile Gumede and the supervisor showed on sympathy at all and it was business as usual.
