Ackerman's is Stupid

I received a birthday gift from a friend who purchased it from Ackerman's.It was too big and I went to exchange.I did not have a receipt only the tag and was turned away.This is so ****ed up like how are you not able to exchange something that was a gift without having the receipt.Surely there is something someone in a higher position can do.The stupidest thing I have ever come across seriously
