Ackermans is by far the worst

Ackermans Vaal Mall is by far the worst store to purchase from. I wouldn’t even give them the 1 star. This is my 2nd time experiencing terrible service from this branch. I bought two pairs of shoes, but different sizes and I specifically told the lady that I’m going to bring back the other pair because I don’t know which pair will fit my son. The shoes price is R309 per pair. This lady tells me that the shoes are on sale so they are going to deduct R75 when I return the pair. Nowhere in the store does it say the shoes are on sale. I bought the shoe at a normal price and now I must lose R75 for nothing. She even went as far as asking why I didn’t bring my son with me instead of returning the shoes. Why must I fear returning something just because it irritates her. When I went back to return the shoes I was refused a slip. Apparently Ackermans does not give you your original or return slip when you return goods. First time I hear of this nonsense. I wanted the cashiers name so I know who was assisting me when I reported the issue but she refused to give me a slip. I am but one client who won’t cripple the business by not shopping there anymore but I will not be stepping foot in that store again.
