Ackermans account statement fail

I used the whatsapp route to get a monthly statement sent to me so that I can make a payment on my account. I accidently gave some wrong details in the verification and my account was blocked. to unblock the account I am to send 3 months bank statements and a copy of my ID, Why is it necessary for 3 months bank statements??? how is that a form of identification?? ridiculous!!

I called the call center : ref ***2 they told me there's nothing they can do and that is procedure.

I will not send my bank statements for a form of verification. I will send any other for of verification no problem but there is absolutely no reason to need my bank statements,

All I want to do is pay my bill, but refuse to do so without a statement. I have no way to check if they have captured my previous payments correctly.
