Misleading and False Advertising By Achilles Tyres

Do not buy Achilles tyres. I made the worst mistake ever by replacing my worn out Continentals with Achilles. Every tyre should have a label, rating 3 components which are fuel efficiency,wet grip and noise levels. On the Achilles website, they indicate that the ATR SPORT 2 improves fuel efficiency but after having them fitted on at Tiger Wheel And Tyre, my fuel economy has drastically changed for the worse. Please note that the ratings for fuel efficiency is from A - G with A being the best and G being the worst. I did some research and found that the fuel economy rating for the ATR SPORT 2 is at E which is pretty bad. That kind of rating increases fuel consumption rather than improving but their website clearly states that the ATR SPORT 2 improves fuel efficiency. I contacted Achilles tyres to explain the issues that i'm having but they were rude and unhelpful and told me to contact the the tyre fitment centre. Tiger wheel and tyre will not refund me as there is no fault on their end. The issue lies with Achilles who need to take accountability and stop misleading people and false advertising that their tyres improve fuel efficiency. I am now stuck with a brand new set of tyres that is hurting my pockets at the fuel station.
