Empty promises

I heard of the solar business that lets you rent the system for a reasonable amount, from a friend and i decided to take a package for my family since laodshedding is a problem. I was told that i should pay for 3 months before i get my system installed at our home, which i did do pay and wait. The waiting period finally came and no word from the guys, i then decided to give them a call and spoke to Lucas who acted like was the one in charge and he promised to send a technician to my house to come and check where and how the system should be installed. Someone came two weeks later but not a technician and the person was there to give me a contract to sign so that installation process can start, and i was given a month promise. This was in September last year up until today the installation hasn't taken place, so i decided i no longer want their services anymore since they cant keep promises made to customers. I then asked if they can give me back the 3 premiums(R299 p/m) i have already paid and they sent me a cancelation form which i did fill and send back. This was about a month or two ago but now they come with a new excuse, they telling me i should wait for up to 3-4 months because they are under audit and they dont have access to finances.
