<p>we hired this guy (KEN) to do a photoshoot, he was well aware what i wanted, he accepted the payment knowing that he will not be able to do this kind of photoshoot , without warning us that he cant do it or offering a refund he provided us with absolute rubish , not what we asked for! he stole our money</p> <p> </p> <p>it just shows that this guy is quick to accept your money and not able to deliver specific clinet needs</p>
A few points to note…
1. Type of shoot my client requested, quoted for, accepted and paid for was a couples shoot. This was stated on all quotes submitted to them.
2. After the original quote was accepted and payment was received, I was asked to have a look at a website to which some images from the shoot would be submitted for a competition.
3. After looking at the images and brief on the website I felt confident that I would be able to accommodate my client.
4. These extra (+/- 70 of 155) edited images, over and above the couples shoot images, were not charged for.
5. The original quote stated a 1hr photo shoot and 4hrs post production and editing. We spent 1hr 15mins on the shoot and approximately 12hrs on post production and editing at no extra cost.
6. My clients initial comments of a 11 images I sent him via WhatsApp were… and I quote, “Thank you looks very nice” after sending a few more pictures, “Hey buddi. Thanks realy excited to see” and “Bud. Will you please edit some of the pics, The are realy nice. I just want to edit around…” the rest of the quote I will leave out to protect my client.
7. The brief in the web site stated, “We are looking for established girls as well as young & fresh NEW girls, if you think you have what it takes you don’t need to have professional photos to enter the competition, any photos will suffice as long as they haven’t been drastically modified.” This type of modification my client requested would have taken a lot of time, therefore I quoted him and extra R300.00 per hour for this editing.
8. This is when my clients attitude changed drastically and accusations start being thrown left, right and centre. At this stage he had only seen 11 out of 155 images, which he said were “realy nice.”
9. I am truly sorry that you are unhappy with the outcome of the shoot, and I am positive we can sort this situation out in a civil manner.
10. Our photo shoot agreement has been amended to ensure that this will never happen again.
11. My client has been rather quick of the mark to say that we “Stole” his money as he only requested a refund after he posted this review, we have refunded our client with 60%. The reason for not refunding to full amount was that he still had all the images of the “couple shoot” he and his girlfriend were originally quoted for.
