bad service
Claim number 2015/5256
My husband was involved in an accident in early April this year the person responsible for the accident is the insured at NNAC.
We have submitted the claim and necessary doments required by themselves to payout the claim. An assesor was sent to our premises and an over was made by NNAC which we accepted but up until today we have been receiving excuses one after the other why payment is done on the 14.7.15 i spoke to the person assisting us at NNAC and he said the file has been sent to finance for payment to be done. On the 15.7.15
i receive a rather bad attitude from the same guy who told me if i want to go to my Laywers that i can do that and that the results of my actions will be further delay in my claim being paidout we always have to call them even when their promised to call you back in 30minutes what is this very frustrated driving a vehicle in condition it is.
The release that was initially sent through was incomplete. The completed release was received by us on the 8th July 2015. The file was then processed for payment on the 8th July 2015. it was expected that the EFT would have been in the third party's account by the 14th July 2015 but unfortunately this was delayed due to a glitch in the EFT process. the EFT is being re-submitted today and payment will reflect in the third party's account shortly. The Third party did telephone this morning and everything was explained. She indicated that she wanted to approach the Ombudsman and her attorney, and our response was that she was entitled to as it was her prerogative save that this would be unnecessary at this stage. We do understand the frustration of the third party but the delay was not occasioned by us, and the aggressive and frustrated attitude on her part was not warranted.
