Ace Super Maize Meal Worms and threads

Towards the end of April 21 I bought 2.5kg Ace Super Maize Meal from Pick n Pay- George in the WC, to my surprise when I opened my storage bucket to cook for my 5year old son there were spider webs and worms all over, I had to throw and away. This was not my 1st time bad experience with the product, on a previous month I bought it and came across these spider web like things but still used it, there were no mobing worms that time. The fact that I came across the problem within two different purchases means there is a problem with the product, how many people are going to end up in hospital beds or even die of it? My son recently had a terrible stomach problem, how will I know it was not the cause?
