Poor product and worse service

Poor back up service. Bought an inverter end of December 2022. Worked for a week and then blew up. Paid R7500 for something that didnt work. I phoned head office and there was a lot of blame shifting. Apparently the technal manager would ask someone called Shane who "tuned" it would be alright to open the unit and replace the fuses. After doing this and no change, I was told I had voided any warranty and " sorry for you was the attitude". Sent it back to head office in first week of January and 5weeks later, no quote to fix. Would not buy a product from these guys.

Good day, I received a call from two persons from AC/DC head office who were genuinely concerned in resolving the issue. In the time, I was putting together the info for follow up, I was informed that the unit had been repaired by the franchisee and returned to outlet I bought it from. I am therefore delighted that issue was handled, a suggestion is that there just be better communication and support from head office to franchisees. As it stands, AC/DC have resolved my situation satisfactorily and I appreciate that.

Ok, so the inverter worked for a week and then popped the fuses again. I opened the top and saw that the repair fuses had merely been soldered onto the old popped ones. Not a satisfactory repair in my view.
