Bad products

Bought x2 200ah deepcycle led gel solar batteries 3 years back from ACDC. The performance degraded quite a bit over time and today I only get about 1hour standby out of them where it used to be 7hours at least, the same load as 3 years back.

When I bought them the salesman told me they are under warranty for 4700 cycles and he still converted them for it to 10 years. My biggest mistake is that I trusted him and never followed up on this. Here is the actual response which I got from ACDC this week: "I have consulted with our Soler team.We have come to the following conclusion.1. If you have Led Acid Bateries, they will sulfate over time as load-shedding has increased by more than anyone could have expected. You are welcome to bring the batteries into our Office here at Long Meadow to have them tested but the chances are that they have degraded over time.In terms of the warranty, there is no 10year warranty on Led Acid or Gell batteries and I could then recommend an upgrade to Lithium-ion. "

This is really not nice and I will never use ACDC again as it's all about the sale and not about the truth and quality of products... 'Christo
