Over the moon and back.

I had a breakdown on a Sunday afternoon just outside Malelane end of October. BMW roadside assist could not be of any help to us as they could only load the car on a flatbed truck or bring me Diesel. At that stage I needed a mechanic to remove my front propshaft to allow me to take my Caravan to Berg En Dal, and then to attend further to the propshaft that was broken. The tools I needed to remove it was basic ring spanners. I Googled Auto services in the area and came across ACD Malelane who answered the call in no time, the lady asked het technician with the name of Peter to call me. Peter called soon after and came out to see what is needed. He then went back to the workshop, collected the necessary tools and was back in a few minutes. It was not long and we where back on the road on our way to Berg En Dal with our caravan. On the Monday ACD Malelane ordered a new Proshaft and called me on the Tuesday to go and let them fit a new one. The things that impressed me was; 1. The initial service I received as a stranger to them. 2. They kept me up to date while I was waiting for the new part to arrive. 3. I never felt that they took advantage of my desperate situation to charge me more that they would have if I was not desperate. 4. The efficient way Peter worked on the car, at the breakdown and also in the workshop. 5. As I arrived at the workshop, they immediately took the car in, without letting me wait. I wish them all the best for the future of their business and believe they will always be successful as they do what it takes to make a average business a great one.
