Auto Care Northriding
I took a vehicle to have repaired by these people, a Peugeot 207 which had an electrical fault in the ICU (engine management computer) instead of first checking for the problem, the technicians working on the vehicle started to hard wire the ECU to try and get it started, the next thing that happened , it was sent to Bosch who then informed Auto Care that the compression on some cylinders were low, when I again returned to see what progress had been made I found that the vehicles engine had been dismantled, the rings and bearings ad been replaced, the engine was again assembled but this time the cam timing was done incorrectly resulting in the cam lobes being damaged, I got fed up with this after all attempts to repair the vehicle failed, the auto electrician had further damaged the ECU by sending it to be repaired and came back in a worse condition, the vehicle was then taken to Peugeot Four-ways and parts had to be ordered, a new ECU was imported from France at a cost of R 15,927.58, but it gets better, the total cost stand at R around R 50,000, so if you are going to use these people to do any work for you, BE AWARE, I had a service on a Rover &%, just to change the filters and Oil, The car started to use 1 liter of Oil per day, after having it checked out, it was found that the oil filter had been cross threaded. So what does this tell you, Dont use them
