ACD (Auto Care Diagnostics) Alrode. Proclaimed Owner Ather.

Ather that is the proclaimed owner of ACD Alrode quoted us R35 000 for the replacement of turbo, intercooler and pypes he then took the Ford Ranger to another Mechanical Company to do the repairs, I fetched the bakkie and he signed that it was services. 4 days later the new turbo burnt out as there was no oil in my Ford Ranger I then phoned Ather where he phoned the people that replaced the Turbo ect to come to the Freestate and take a look they found that the bakkie was never serviced and that there was no oil.

The towed the bakkie to their workshop and replaced the turbo again with the warranty when I fetched the bakkie 26 March 2020 they informed me that there is extra costs I then told them that it's impossible as I paid R35000 and they then told me to show them the invoice as they only asked R25 000.

I went back to ACD Alrode where Ather chased me and my wife of the premises and told us he didn't touch the bakkie where we asked him so why did you sign the service book and took R10 000 profit?? Now I paid R40 000 in Total wich is outrageous.

This is THEFT and utterly disgusting! I will advise people Not to use them as this is the type of service you get.
