YOUR WARRANTY WON'T PROTECT YOU

I bought a Tata Indica in June 2013, my first of the brand, because it was all I could afford at the time.<br> The quality is atrocious, but I suppose you get what you pay for, so I am not complaining about that.<br> What really has me fuming is that there has been a basic fault with the braking system on the car since it was new.<br> The first time it went back to them, (at 7000kms) they replaced the brake discs free of charge. NEW BRAKE DISCS AT 7000KMS????<br> Fair enough, it was much better after.<br> Next comes the 15000km service. The brakes are once again giving serious problems, and they once again replace the discs, but want me to pay for the replacement of the brake pads. I refuse to do so, so they replace the discs, and once again it is much better.<br> I have just taken it in for it's 30000km service, and have received a phone call that both the discs and the brake pads need to be replaced, and the cost will be R4600.<br> I don't know a great deal about car mechanics, but this I do know - you may replace your brake pads 2 or 3 times before you need to replace a set of discs.<br> This is a car which is not yet 3 years old with an extremely low mileage. I am totally DISGUSTED!!!
