Tata Super Ace Clutch failure at 30000km
Bought a Super Ace few months ago for my company. It was used to travel between Vanderbijlpark and Villiers daily transporting tools and personnel. Within first 10000km the accelerator cable had to be replaced. About 6 weeks ago the vehicle clutch failed. At this time we contacted the Ver Branch and they arranged to collect vehicle. For first two weeks we got almost no feedback from branch. When we started enquiring about the vehicle we were informed the warranty was never registered. We then followed the required procedure and sorted it out. Its now 6 weeks since the incident and I am yet to receive any constructive feedback from Tata. Ive called various times and the personnel promised that management will call me to give me update. This never happened.

This is a big frustration as my company relies on this vehicle as transport between various projects. Tata has failed on delivering a product that meets their sales promise. I currently have vehicles from Toyota, Ford, Daihatsu, Kia in service and we have not had any similar problems in the past 6 years.

From this experiences I can only conclude that Tata is not a quality product and has poor after sales service.
Dear Mr Visser, referring to all previous communication today, please be advised that we can give the dealer an answer on the claim by using the mileage, cause of failure and photographs of the failed component.
I have requested this from the Warranty Clerk at the dealer and we await the necessary info.
