Tata headaches
My wife has a 2017 Tata Bolt and it went in for its first service before 15000km service as it was almost on the 1 year time limit. Came back with handbrake cable set out, car still cuts out, and service light was never 're set. It has now got under 20000km and the turbo bolts came loose. It went in to Tata workshops in Somerset West on Monday 25 February, only to be returned without the problem being fixed. The bolts had to be ordered according to them. I wrote a comment on Tata South Africa Facebook page, and no response. I sent a complaint on their website contact page and they get Kia to contact me stating they got the lead to contact me as I was looking for a new vehicle. ***?? I get hold of Tata workshop again today to ask what is happening and they say they got the bolts yesterday on 4 March 2019. Why can Tata not contact a person and respond to the complaints? Only thing I can think of is that they are *********** and know that their vehicles are useless. When the vehicle went in for the turbo bolt problem, the mechanics and the service advisor stated that it happens. So if it happens, why has the vehicles not been recalled or the problem rectified. Vehicle with not even 20 000km on the clock, and this is the service one gets. My advice to anyone with any Model of Tata, get rid of it as fast as you can. Rather spend a bit more and get quality. That is what I am going to try. Tata means "tata ma chance" Relatively new car and these problems are already happening. Stay away from Tata. You are going to buy continuous problems.
