No luck with Tata SA / Motus
We need help. Bought a Tata car from Imperial Select Umhlanga (ISU) in February 2019. They failed to load the car onto the Tata warranty system, but by the time we found this out, the car was already in a Tata service centre for a warranty claim. ISU have since stopped dealing with Tata/Motus and have transferred all documents to Kia Multifranchise Pinetown (KMP). We believe KMP have submitted all details to Tata SA to load the car on the warranty system, yet the car remains not on the system. The first unpaid warranty claim was in October 2019 and now the 2nd claim was in January 2020. The service centre is holding the car back because they unfortunately cannot get the authorisation to carry out the work required to get the car running again. We have been without a car now for over 2 months and are now out of pocket due to lending and renting of cars for the general day to day. We have back and forth emails and phone calls with Tata SA and the excuse is always that the manageress is in a meeting... Since 14th Jan 2020... The service centre is trying to get the car onto another system to assist us with getting the car back sooner than later, but keep getting held back by Motus. The financiers, MFC, have even tried to push Motus to get the car loaded onto the Tata warranty system, but even they've had no luck. Rather than providing communication as to what the problem is to sort the car out, it seems there is a refusal to get the job done. We just need to know why does the system take 2 months to get sorted out.
