Customer pays for TATA mistake

I own a TATA indica. I recieved a crack in one of the petrol pipes and brought it in to the service centre on the 30th of April. They told me the usual story of waiting periods and it was fine with me since i would be in cape town for two weeks. I watched them put my details on their system and they informed me it was still under warranty. I phoned them on the 14th of May to find out if the part is in. They said they would follow up. I phoned on the 15th and they finally told me they have no record of the part being ordered.... I brought my car back on the 15th so they could see what pipe it was. I notified their head office the next week And I even learnt that the branch only ordered the part on the 19th. It is the 12th of june already. I am in hot water with my place of employment and have spent thousands of rands to try and survive without a car as my job requires me to go to all corners of limpopo. TATA in general does not care at all that i am paying for their mistake. I have made hundreds of calls to keep informed. This branch hasnt phoned me back even once. The contact person at thier head office atleast kept me informed as to where the part is. Its been 31 WORKING days
