AWFUL SERVICE AND RESPONSE FROM TATA/RENAULT IMPERIAL MULTIFRANCHISE ROODEPOORT

I have spoken to Head office and I have escelated this to the dealership and have heard NOTHING bac****

My car was towed into the dealership earlier on in the week after I broke down (I suspect it was a gearbox or a clutch issue) and I was told that my car would be looked at on Wednesday.

On Wednesday evening, a lady from the workshop phoned and told me that the dealership would require authorisation to take the gearbox out to look at the clutch to see the problem and that this would cost almost R7000. I told the lady i would need time to make a decision.

After deciding that the amount was far too exorbitant for me, I made an arrangement for my car to be towed from the dealership back to my house.

The insurance collected my vehicle and I wasnt at home to recieve my car. My younger brother recieved the vehicle. When the vehicle arrived, my brother noticed that it was in a SHOCKING condition. He noticed that the steering wheel cover and various other things had been taken apart and just left in the car. He asked the tow truck driver, who said that he had recieved it in this condition. He also had photos to prove it. I have linked pictures below.

I am extremely disheartened by the lack of regard for my vehicle and I cannot help but feel that the reason my car was not put back together, was because I did not want to spend R7000 for mechanics to LOOK at what the problem is. I am fully prepared to pay for good service from any service provider, but R7000 to merely look at the problem does not make sense to me.

I have been a loyal customer of your dealership with services, parts and vehicles over many years and I have only had good service. I found this particular experience very frustrating as I do not know how to put my car back together. I cannot afford for another mechanic to have to do extra work to put those components back and I also cannot afford to have my car towed again to the dealership to sort this out.
