Accident damaged vehicle sold as Demo

I purchased a Demo Tata Indica from Tata Paarl December 2014. Took possession of vehicle 20 Dec 2014, returned to Dealer on 05 January 2015 due to problems. After months of fighting and complaints with RMI and MIOSA, i eventually got my car back middle June 2015. A week later I had to call them out to my place of work because the vehicles lights did not want to switch off. We then discovered that the vehicle was in a accident which was not disclosed to me. They wanted to give me a courtesy vehicle again and repair said vehicle. I refused, because I did not buy a accident damaged vehicle. I am insisting that they give me another vehicle with the same specs. The case is now back with the MIOSA and TATA SA is playing dead. Not one of their managers (not even at the Head Office) has had the decency to give me a call or even sent an email. They are passing the buck from one person to another. They received their full payment from MFC for a demo vehicle in very good condition, now I am paying MFC for a 2nd hand accident damaged vehicle. Never will I ever recommend anybody to buy a TATA. I also have reason to believe the service booklet has been *****ed

Hello NaomiVermaak,

What you have stated is not entirely true.
We are in possession of an e-mail dated the 7th of August 2015, sent by Deon Rademeyer from the RMI, suggesting a meeting between yourself and the dealer. You responded by saying that this matter is now being dealt with by the MIOSA and that you will wait for their instructions.
TATA SA is liaising with the MIO as a case has been logged with them and will do so again once we have received further correspondence from MIOSA.

Kind Regards,
