Contractual terms
Good day All,
Kindly note that i was part of the accenture internship program in South Africa. The program ran a duration of 12 months, after 9 months I left mainly because I realise the salary bracket couldn't sustain me and my needs and there's no permanence even after years of service. There's a clause which clearly stated that should one leave the program without completion of the program you will be liable to pay 15k back for their training fine and well. I worked the 1st cycle meaning I'm liable to being paid half my salary for which is to be paid to me on the 29th of each calender month. The salary is taken without any communication to me I called in through payroll and I told it's done we will send a statement of the remaining balance. Is this ethical business conducts can that be done without informing an employee in any writing.
I sold my Labour potential and wasn't compensated or given any alert of the pay would have been taken without it being a clause of it's own on the contract. It states 15k will be liable from the candidate to pay should they not complete the internship not that the salary for the month will be taken as a result of such .The Seta is funding the internship program and not accenture only the travel allowance is being paid by accenture. This is ******* where in the history of law can you sell your Labour potential to an employee then they take away your money without any writing.
