ACB Engines pathetic service and ********

Hi,

I would like to express my disgust at the treatment i received from ACB Engines in Wynburg Johannesburg. I saw a VW engine online and inquired about it, i was contacted by the guy called Dilon and said they had the engine i was looking for. I said to him i would like to bring my mechanic to come view the engine before i make a decision. Dilon insisted that i pay a R1000 deposit so they can keep the engine for me. He promised that i will get my deposit back should i not like the engine. I'm in position of his whatsApp voice recordings were he committed to even paying me from his own pocket if i don't like the engines. I went to their Wynburg offices on Saturday 7 Sep 2019, to my shock i was told this Dilon is based in Cape Town and doesn't work in Wynburg branch. The engine he told me about was not there at all and the only one available was in a terrible state. I called the guy immediately asking for my deposit back and to this day he keeps saying i will deposit your money back. I have sent countless emails but 3 weeks later my money still hasn't been given back to me. I would like to warn people about this company and the engines they sell to people, their engines look terrible and i know they probably sell these to poor and innocent people. How does a guy in Cape Town promise people engines that he himself hasn't seen? Everyone please be careful and look elsewhere if you need to buy engines, ACB is definitely not the right place to buy engines at.
