Complaint Regarding Graduation Process and Unavailability of Certificates
I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the recent graduation process conducted by AIE and the subsequent delay in receiving my National Diploma Project Management certificate.
Firstly, I must address the extreme short notice provided to students regarding the graduation date. The lack of adequate notice significantly inconvenienced many students, making it difficult for them to make necessary arrangements to attend the ceremony. This disregard for proper communication is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the organization.
Furthermore, the fact that certificates for the National Diploma Project Management were not printed and available on the day of graduation is utterly unacceptable. Despite an email sent out on 14 March assuring students that certificates would be delivered the following week, it is now 27 March, and I, along with many others, have yet to receive our certificates. The lack of communication regarding the delay in delivery only exacerbates the frustration and disappointment felt by students who have worked tirelessly to complete their courses.
As someone who completed the course in 2021, I fail to understand how this process could take so long. AIE had more than sufficient time to sort out the printing and distribution of certificates, and the delay reflects poorly on the organization's efficiency and professionalism.
Upon arrival at the graduation ceremony, I was dismayed to witness disorganization among staff members who were still sifting through and sorting out certificates while students were left waiting. This lack of preparation and organization further marred what should have been a celebratory occasion for all involved.
Therefore, I request an immediate status update on the certificates and a confirmed delivery date. It is imperative that AIE takes swift action to rectify this situation and ensure that students receive their well-deserved certificates without any further delay.

Despite assurances from your staff that the certificate would be promptly sent to my address, I have yet to receive it. Instead, I received the Services SETA certificate, which was ready for collection months prior to the graduation ceremony. Where is the certificate that was supposed to be issued at the graduation????
The lack of transparency and accountability in this matter is deeply troubling. It begs the question: does your institution even possess the basic competency to discern which certificate was issued on the day of graduation? It appears evident that there is a significant lapse in communication and organization within your administrative processes.
Furthermore, the apparent confusion regarding the status of the project management certificates only compounds my frustration. If these certificates were not printed and ready at the time of graduation, as you suggest, it raises serious doubts about the efficiency and reliability of your institution.
To summarize, my experience with AIE has been nothing short of disappointing and unprofessional. The repeated mishandling of such a fundamental aspect of the educational process reflects poorly on your institution and undermines the trust and confidence of your students.
I demand immediate action to rectify this matter and provide a satisfactory resolution. I expect a prompt response detailing the steps you will take to ensure the expedited delivery of my graduation certificate and an explanation for the ongoing delays and miscommunications.

Please note that the Services SETA certificate is the only certificate that may be expected to be received. Students at graduation would have been provided with this certificate based on certification of the Accreditation Body.
As your certificate was not at graduation to present, this was couriered to you.
Thus, no additional certificate expected to be sent onto you.
Kindly advise if this has provided you with sufficient clarity into the reason for the courier and what would have been provided at graduation should your certificate have been made available.

02 Apr 2024, 13:05That is not correct, the students received a certificate from AIE at the graduation. The services SETA certificate was available to you prior to the graduation. I am actually shocked that you are not aware?

Kindly note that there are multiple programmes for various accreditation at Graduation.
As you are a SETA programme you do not get an AIE HC certificate, you will receive SETA. The only School receiving 2 is IT as they do SETA and AIE modules therefore receiving two but there is no SETA AIE certificates unless you did a AIE accredited course.
