I was driving from Cape Town to Kimberley and experienced some unfortunate car trouble with my car’s alternator, to such a degree that I became stuck just outside Kimberley. The owner of AC Tires came to our rescue by helping us get the vehicle to his workshop. My car’s alternator is notoriously difficult to source, and AC immediately stepped in to assist.

He and his family even arranged a lift to the airport so I could rent a car. Before I could finalize the rental, AC and the admin lady, Filicity, managed to source an alternator and have it fitted — all within the same afternoon, and at a fraction of the dealer price. I was able to collect my car that very day without needing to rent a vehicle at all.
