Avoid AC Direct. False, Misleading, and Deceptive Advertising; Non-performance

Their misleading advertising, empty promises, and abysmal customer service have cost me both time and money. Avoid at all costs! Ordered a battery on 6 December 2024 with a promised delivery of 2–7 days. As of February 2025, the battery has not been delivered. AC Direct’s website continues to advertise unrealistic delivery times, and customer service has provided conflicting information, settling on delivery in May 2025. How frustrating. I have incurred significant extra expenses due to generator use and ACDirect offered battery from alternative suppliers, only to tell me I must bear the cost. This after spending R44k with them. This experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
