AC Direct - Refuse to fix or replace a prefectly working A/C pump they broke.

I asked AC Direct to come and sort out a condensate pumping issue from my A/C and agreed with them to do a complete service at the same time. The issue with the pump was that, although it was working perfectly well it had got to a stage where you had to give the A/C a knock to get it working and it would then pump for a while and stop in the usual way, as it should. When the AC Direct technician came he immediately, with some difficulty, stripped the pump, assuming that there was a blockage in the pump. there was, however, no blockage. He then found that there was a blockage from the condensate tray to the pump that blocked the flow of water condensate to the pump, which was why the water was not being pumped out but rather overflowing from the tray down the wall. When the technician put the pump back together it was no longer working, in that it now continued to pump without stopping. AC Direct are clearly responsible for damaging the pump on my A/C and refusing to get it fixed or to replace it. I would definitely not recommend AC Direct to do any maintenance on your A/C, because they will just break it, or parts of it, and then want to charge you to replace what they have broken.
