04 Nov 2020, 18:51I have an additional complaint that I would like engagement that I as a client can understand. I am beyond dissatisfied with ABSA currrenyly.
I would like to request a re-assessment of my FURTHER ADVANCE APPLICATION.The below feedback states my application for an advance was declined due to my expenses.
I would like an ABSA personnel who can engage me and explain how expenses of R16 000+ surpass two incomes of R40 000.Facts to consider:• My monthly salary of R21 000.00 which services my current/ initial bond repayments with ABSA of R8 300.00.• My second freelance income which varies from R 5000.00 to R20 000.00 p/month depending on the project at hand.• The current rental income from the cottage that is within the property, which is R5 500.00. This rental income is based on a signed agreement with my tenants.• My credit rating/ score which is in good standing.• The improvements of close to R200 000.00 which have already been made towards the property.• Upon renovation completion, this property (the main house , excluding the cottage) has the potential to bring in a further R11 000.00 p/month rental income.
The basis is that my application has been declined due to my expenses surpassing my income, seems to me like a vague assessment was done without much introspection.
At the least.... there hasn’t even been an assessment of the property to Check it’s Current value against the initial value. Major Improvements have been made on the property.
I would like to escalate this further. If this is not the appropriate platform to do so please may you advise me on the way forward.
