You are slowly losing me as a customer
I went to absa tohoyandou accompanying my pregnant wife who needed to transfer 50000 deposit as we are purchasing a house. Both my wife and i have a busy work schedule and managed to leave work early for that particular day. We arrived at half 2 and had to stand 1hr on the que. By half 3 we got to the teller only to be assisted by a man who was rude to us in every way. We did not know the account type as it was not given to us by the recipient. As we were trying to find out he told us in a rude way that its their closing time. I am used to being treated kindly each time im at absa but i felt this person was making it as basically impossible for us to tldo our transfer yet we only had this particular time to have it done. My wife requested to be helped by a different person who only then told hey that her ID is damaged and must make another one before she can transfer the money. We are very very frustrated and probably wont get a home soon because these people couldnt something that takes 10min to do simply because they wanted to knock off. I advised my wife to leave absa immediately. Absa is a good company and its sad to see its employees chasing customers away like this.
