Wrong information given twice

When I picked up my absa credit card from the bank, I asked the consultant if I was registered for notifyme, she said it was registered when I app**** for the card. I did not get any notifications thereafter. someone called me and asked how the card was, I responded my dissatisfaction as to not having notifications and that I had asked in the branch to be registered for notifications when I fetched the card. I was told that I could call the call center and they would register me for notifications on the phone, I just called them and they told me to go to a branch.
