Worst ********* service from ABSa
ABSa has debited my account twice in a single day without my authorization. When I lodged a complaint, I was informed that they would provide an email address for me to send proof of the double charge, as it isn't reflecting on their end. However, I have yet to receive the email. Additionally, I am unable to reach them via their telephone line, as calls are frequently cut off, and the functionality is not working.

30 Nov 2023, 12:07I am writing to express my extreme frustration and concern regarding the ongoing issues with my account.
I have recently received another debit order request for an amount of R4451.62, despite clearly stating and providing proof that the agreed-upon debit order is for R3772.34. I have also submitted my insurance policy as evidence that the vehicle is adequately insured.
This continual disregard for the communicated debit order amount and the persistent deduction attempts for insurance premiums are both unacceptable and tantamount to harassment. I urge you to rectify this situation immediately.
I insist that ABSA ceases any further unauthorized debit order requests or deductions for insurance premiums. This consistent mishandling of my account is not only causing significant inconvenience but is also undermining my confidence in ABSA's ability to manage my financial affairs responsibly.
This ongoing situation is causing undue stress and inconvenience, and I trust that ABSA will prioritize and expedite the resolution of these issues.
