Worst possible experienced and lack of taking responsibility - ***

Hi There,

As so many of us I went through an emotional retrenchment at my Company which involved some 187 staff members.

I tried to maintain my financial status while desperately trying to find re-employment. After awhile I unfortunately had no other choice but, to request assistance with my Credit Card Premiums and submitted a claim form, the end result to date emotional heartache:

- I requested the necessary forms completed them with certified copies of all required documents and submitted that to ABSA via email on 31/01/2017 at 13h43 ( **********
- I have continuously requested a status update, but to date have received little to none:

- 01/02/2017: I followed via email up with Life as well as Brian Adams ********** if claim were received and it was confirmed;

- 03/02/2017: I followed up via email with Brian on the status of my claim and he confirmed that claim has been assessed and an email has been sent through to Virgin money requesting the credit card statements;

- 13/02/2017 : I followed up via email with Brian again on the status of my claim and he confirmed that a follow up email has been sent to Virgin money requesting the credit card statements for the date of retrenchment, once these statements have been provided we will assess the claim and make the necessary payments;

- 14/02/2017: I received an sms stating the following: Dear client, Absa Life received your claims ref: ********** ********** 16. If required an assessor will contact you.

Absa Life, at what point are you willing to come to the party and acknowledge my mails. I do not have any voicemails or mails there is just absolute silence from your side. Can you PLEASE process my claim that is why Insurance are therefore. I have not been asked to be retrenched, it happened!

This is for my British Airways MasterCard

Regards

Joan le Roux
