Worst banking experience

I have lost complete faith in ABSA. I have settled all my debt in debt review and connect get out of it because I need to receive a paid up letter from Absa. The account was settled almost 3 years ago. I have spend close to R1000 in airtime and have been trying to get this letter for more than 4 months already!!! Departments I have been in contact with that has passed the buck: Debt review, finance, recoveries, collections, vehicle finance general, I am not even sure how many more.

1 of 2 things happen. I speak to an agent and they say its another department they want to transfer me too. I make sure I take down the number before they transfer me - because 50% of the time after the transfer happens the phone just rings until the call is ended and I have to start again (an queue for an answer another 5 minutes!) - Or after all of the above an agent will give me an email address. When an email address is given and I send an email - it takes 5 days for a reply to occur. And 100% of the time they will say its not there department and just give me a phone number to another department that Is already on a list of numbers I have (I have over 30 numbers already) Right now I am sitting at a dead end in the recoveries with 5 phone numbers that are either always engaged or someone answers and as soon as I greet they hang up on the phone.

I’m at my wits end and don’t know what to do! My lease is ending and being on debt review limits rental options drastically!!
