Worst Banking Experience: Absa Does Not Care About Its Clients – This Matter Is Affecting My Health!

My account , account *** has been unjustly placed on hold because Tintswalo Mthombeni(***ca), a consultant from the ***** department, seems to doubt my ability to own a successful hair extention business. This discriminatory assumption is not only baseless but has severely impacted my finances and livelihood. This level of judgment and lack of professionalism is unacceptable.

I’m beyond frustrated at this point. I’ve been going back and forth with the bank for what feels like forever, and nothing is getting resolved. This whole issue started with a payment I received. I verified it when they asked me to, and I was told it was released. Then I had to go to the bank to verify my identity. Fine, I did that too.

After everything I’ve been through, I was informed the funds had been reversed and sent back to an account that has absolutely no connection to me or the transaction. Then, on another call, I’m told the money is still in my account but requires further verification. How does that make any sense? I’ve already provided all the necessary verification. Now it’s been escalated to an “official case,” but no one is providing clear answers or following up. This level of miscommunication and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable.

To make matters even more concerning, the sender of the funds has already provided verification, including a sworn affidavit from the court, signed by their attorney. Despite this legally binding documentation, the issue remains unresolved, which is both baffling and unacceptable.

I have been misled countless times, dismissed, and repeatedly given false information. I was assured multiple times that someone would get back to me, yet no one ever did. This entire experience has been nothing short of infuriating and deeply unprofessional. The lack of accountability, transparency, and basic customer care is unacceptable. At this point, I cannot see myself continuing to use Absa. This has gone beyond a simple mistake—it’s a complete failure in handling a serious matter.
