Worst bank in the world, Stay AWAY FROM ABSA!

Funeral cover - Not debited Vehicle finance X2 - Not debited Cheque account - Not closed How useless are you as a bank? I apply for a home loan in May last year, my bank (ABSA) come back with the highest interest rate, I accept an offer from Investec, I then request for my account to be closed as I would be moving my cheque to Investec. This request has been ignored by every single person I've dealt with, I have been to your branches, called in & there's no winning and this has been happening for 8 months now. My IT scoring has been affected by this! I am being charged monthly fees for an account that hasn't had a salary paid into for going on a year! I have requested for my account (Investec) to be debited for my vehicles and funeral covers and this has been a joke. I get calls every month telling me I'm a slow payer and I've now had it. Add to that I get a letter of demand for an amount I owe on my cheque account which I WILL NOT pay! I purchased a new vehicle in December, you debited my Investec account then yesterday I get a call saying I have not paid my March installment, WHAT THE **** are you guys doing there? When I ask to speak to a manager I get told that the system doesn't allow for it, I've managed call centre's going on 20 years and it's sad that a bank works in this way. As for the private banking situation, my banker was retrenched as the bank needed to capitalize on their earning and now I have a banker who's looking after 1500 people, WHAT THE **** IS THAT? HOW THE **** IS THAT PRIVATE BANKING? I am expecting a call from you ASAP & I am not paying a cent for that cheque account.
