Worst bank in the country by far

If you ever thinking of moving banks PLEASE don't concider Absa they are the wors my bank in the country and it's for that reason I closed my Cheque account of more than a decade with them.

Regrettably only have a credit card with them, today I call and want to make sure everything is up to date and in order, I get told my account and card is blocked I need to go into a branch, I hate Absa for this because even though Thier competitors have made it clear no one has time to go to branches they still want to enforce this old school mentality that clearly isn't working because everyone is leaving.

I can't check my accounts because apparently when I closed my cheque account I subsequently closed my online banking profile too and guess what, I need to go into the branch to go get that sorted out, can't wait to be done with this bank

When I called the gentleman today his attitude also changed eventhough he whispers when he talks he suddenly got a voice and cheek when he told me my account is blocked and I have to go to the branch to sort it at apparently he can't give me any info other than that eventhough I could obviously answer all my security question

As I type this I just hate Absa more
