Worst Bank in South Africa

Absa bank is the worst bank in South Africa. The customer service is shocking. I am a beneficiary on a trust account that was supposed to pay out months ago already. They never answer their phone and don’t return emails. When I eventually got through someone in Customer Service - I have been told every day that it’s being investigated and that today it will be paid.

Next day same thing. They are literally lying to just by themselves time.

It has been weeks and weeks with Customer Service up and down and no results.

I will never in my life recommend Absa Bank to anyone or even consider opening an account of any kind with them. The worst bank ever.
