Worst bank for customer service - Unable to resolve matters

I left a previous Hellopeter review 28 June 2023 of which all items seems to be resolved except for one. As per my previous review I was under debt review and managed to pay of all that was under my debt review program within roughly two and a half years. The service received from Wesbank, Vodacom and Consumer Friend was very effective but unfortunately it seemed as if I continuously hit a brick wall with Absa. After going backwards and forwards a bit over the last few weeks it seemed as if I finally got all except for my home loan sorted out with Absa. Firstly Absa just declined my clearance outright for my home loan. When I queried this they said it was because my home loan was in arrears by R6549.59 which was not the case - In actual fact I was ahead on my payments - We did sent through the necessary supporting documentation whereafter up to date we haven't received a response - Our email was sent 17 July 2023. My debt counsellors (Thusega) then attempted to get hold of a manager - Evanthia (from Thusega) finally managed to get hold of a lady by the name of Lindiwe who then advised that the clearance could not be issued because my wife still has a personal loan with Absa and that this loan has not been settled. Firstly, my wife was not under debt review and her personal loan is 100% up to date - she has never missed a payment and has never paid her personal loan late, for what it is worth we are also married ANC. Secondly, Absa accepted my debt restructuring process back in the day without my wife - it was thus just my own profile that went under debt review - No mention was ever made of my wife at any stage and thus she is not part of this process at all. We have attempted to sort this out but like I mentioned previously we just continue to hit a brick wall. I have gone above and beyond in an attempt to honour all my commitments within record time as me being under debt review started affecting my business. This has now become an desperate situation for me and it feels as if Absa has no ambitions to assist, every time my problem just gets shifted to the next person. As per my understanding of the act, a clearance certificate can be issued if all unsecured debt has been settled - Which is the case. It almost feels as if Absa is doing everything in their power not to issue the clearance certificate. This is now my final attempt to resolve this matter after which I will be seeking legal advice in an effort to resolve this.
