Working abroad

If you ever work/travel abroad, please do not consider ABSA as your bank. Before I left I made the necessary changes on the banking app for international travel and also went to the branch. Then all of a sudden there is an extra login, without any notice from ABSA, just resulting to my pin being revoked, which I still can't understand why because my pin never changed. Now to get it working again I need to go to my nearest embassy, which is a 2 day bus ride away from me, sign the necessary documents in front of the Head of the Embassy of that country etc etc etc. In short, why do they give you options to prevent stuff like this to happen but then it happens anyway. Why oh why ABSA?!
