Withholding my salary!!!

I have a cheque account with standard bank which was closed without notifying me by then my salary was already deposited into that account on the 28th... after numerous and frustrating calls to both absa and standard bank we were advised that if funds are paid to a closed account, it is then rejected and sent back to the originator as it lands up in a suspense account... first it was within 24 hours then 2-3 working days, then 2-3 days x2, then 7-10 working days and finally after 10 days... it is evidently clear that some of the staff working for the banks' call centre are not properly trained as we were given different answers by various staff.... I am angry and frustrated as I have kids to see to and accounts to pay... we are on the 2nd of the new month and already my accounts are late and running arrears... the banks don't care as long as they make money off this... I need answers!!!!!! My salary is laying in Absa's suspense account and I must run around for it!!!
